I have a tongue of fire, am allergic to light, and my legs are as fragile as Twiglets; is everyone in the UK unwell in some way lately?

You too. Please look after yourself, Steven
...and still.lazy - I slept the day away again!
*cries*
Thank you, Katy.
Please take care of yourself. x
I'm sorry you've been unwell. I hope you start to feel better soon
I'm ok, but, I do have ulcerative colitis and constant infections, and mouth sores. I've also got brittle bones, I have to be careful or much like you they fragile like twigs.
"Stevens back alright!" (to the tune of Backstreet Boys)
Hurrah!
It is so lovely to see you back here Steven.
Really nice to see your head above the parapet again, really missed your witty humour and friendship. Is friendship and autism an oxymoron? No neurokin are often singing from the same hymn sheet and have similar struggles. Really missed you.
I suffer from migraines and have had 6 migraine or headache attacks this month. My doctor is aware and we're trying a new medication (yay) but still very frustrating. I'm off sick today with a headache, asthma flare up, and sore throat. I used to force myself into work but I'm getting better at self care and have taken the day off.
Nice idea, Steven. Suffering in silence is no good I agree. Even if there is limited professional help, the community is there to support its own
I’m battling with anxiety as always. I’ve given in (I know, wrong attitude!) and have been prescribed Prozac so we’ll see if that helps. Who knows.
Needing to reduce anxiety is what’s spurring me on to investigate possible autism.
I'm not in the UK, but...
This last week I've had another cold, lots of streaming and weeping. Then in the last couple of days my eyes and hands started itching, and keep itching. But it could be a reaction to some bath oils, all of a sudden I a seem to be sensitive to them.
This is on top of flu, which I got in the February. Only managed to get one day off work. My apetite went I've already lost a lot of weight, and this week didn't want to eat much more than soup again. At the end of April I see a chest specialist because the GP suspects uncontrolled asthma, the head at the school where I've been working was getting onto me to do something about that too. I'm not too keen on going on steroids though, don't want a bloated face, body, etc. The last time I got steroids they had horrific side effects to the gut, and it wasn't fun to snort it up like cocaine anyway.
Hello, mate.
I think stress sometimes reveals itself in unexpected guises. For instance, I've a load of varying sleep issues at present; beneath the surface of this, I suspect, is stress and grief.
I'm not really ill, but I'm autistically exhausted by work stress, wedding stress, family stress and Passover preparation stress (like Christmas preparation, but turned up to eleven; actually, more like fifteen). Getting stress headaches and sudden drops in blood sugar. Otherwise fine.
