Asthma

I finally got formally diagnosed with asthma, thanks to a private appointment and a nitric oxide measurement (via the latest parts per billion measuring tech) that left no room for doubt. The GP had given me an inhaler for taking twice a day, that I had found to be pretty ineffectual so I think it wasn't strong enough. Now I'll have two instead - both stronger and more targeted and will see how that goes. Hopefully there will be fewer days of coughing at the slightest trigger, extreme recurring hoarseness, additional fatigue beyond the autism-related quotient, and so on. Quite the relief to be relived and to get such a clear answer beyond the 'it sounds a bit like  it might be.... why don't you try...' generalities that GPs are understandably more restricted to.
