Which ones are the best for noise cancelling at work, do you think?
I'm looking to buy some for when I start my new job in a hospital.....
I think it's a great idea and should definitely help you. Hospitals are loud environments and I'm in them a lot at the moment, I also wear ear plugs.
Yes, I've just ordered the loop experience ones which aren't too expensive (but expensive enough!) I am not in direct patient contact, but will be on the ward daily probably.
I also vote for ear plugs, hospitals can be really hot all year round full headphones may be sweaty and uncomfortable. Ear plugs are more discrete as well and less of an infection risk depending on your role

No worries !
In my opinion, headphones are the best. They can cancel out surrounding noise well. Also, I hate having something inside my ear, so I find headphones less irritating. As for you, it really depends on where you're sensitive. (Edit: It seems that you can tolerate earplugs, so it really depends on personal preference. Yes, things in my ears are ok. Thank you for replying, I just want to make sure I stay calm and i thought maybe these would help. I'm kind of experimenting to find anything that will keep me calm and in control at work really. I don't want to muck this job up.
Ear plugs will be less noticeable depending on price and which ones you buy. I prefer earplugs because I can't tolerate the feel of anything touching my hair and head. I think they would be better for you, especially your work if you can tolerate the feel of things in your ears, of course.
