First of all, NOTHING is ever that simple otherwise Alchemists would've invented mobile phones in the dark ages. Neurology is a NEW science. Psychoanalysis might not be.

Autism originally meant "Eccentric" which was endearing at the time. It was created by a Russian woman working with amazing kids. I see no reason that's a problem. I quite like my eccentricities. Please do your research.

Second, look into the past and examine how the neurotypcial brain reasons based on Feelings. Everything evolves around a Meaning, a symbol. Meanwhile, the Autistic might be more concerned with function and puzzled at how 'feely' the Neurotic is.

The problem with this kind of Reduction is you've not only left out key studies to back up a silly claim which takes a minor detail completely out of context, but also studies on how individuals with Amygdala 'misfirings' misinterpret facial movements or might be a bit more impulsive. And here are two lovely human factors which aren't very particular to the Autistic-Analytic.
