just diagnosed with autism and tourettes

I would suggest find a group of other mothers with autistic children in your area and give the local council another 5 year war...!  You would think the people who diagnosed your child would give you an information base ? Hopefully someone get give you virtual info and advice on the forum, but not exactly the way for the autism community to go,, that would be like asking a public stranger in a hospital waiting room, about an operation you are going to have. I just find it strange that there is such a vaccum out there.
