my local council has classified autism as childhood issue....

i recently applied to my councils housing register as my current home is causing my nearly 12 year old son mental health issues, sleep issues and some hallucinations , on filling out the health question part there is 2 drop down selection boxes, the 1st one is general issue and the 2nd choice is more specific, i assumed mental health and neurological for the 1st option but on the 2nd drop down of those 2 there wasnt any autism choice, i assumed they totally removed autism and wasnt supporting it anymore, i checked the other sections to be sure and i saw under the 1st section a category 'childhood issue' clicked that, looked at the 2nd drop down and autism is on that.  ?? i have got a screen recording of this, tried to add it here but its saying 'the file or url is not allowed to be inserted'  anyway on filling in the form and explaining my sons health he was awarded no health points and not accepted onto the housing register. Has autism been reclassified as a childhood issue? my son generally suffers with processing issues, is this now a seperate diagnosis?  how will i get him the support he needs as a teenager ?  has anyone else come accross anything like this recently?
