Twenty years ago I used to work as a flight attendant during 6 years. During my final year on every first flight of the day I used to experience intense dizziness after take off which lasted for about a minute and after that I would be fine for the rest of the flights of that day. Yesterday I was on a flight as a passenger and about 10 minutes after take off the dizziness came back and was extremely intense. I could hardly see anymore and I just made it to the restrooms in time where I vomited intensely. I must admit, I had a bad cold with a congested head. Maybe this added to it all? But an experience like this makes me never want to fly again. I can't believe I'm saying this, as I used to work on an aircraft every single day for six years and I loved it! Might this have something to do with my ASD? I feel like it is getting worse over the years. I used to love flying and now I'm starting to fear it, also the extreme noise during take off was getting to me. Any advice of welcome to avoid this in the future. I do not suffer from motion sickness on boats, aircrafts or trains. I do get sick in busses. Natascha (47 y)
