Telling them they have aspergers/autism

Hi - I read your other post as well.  You have a lot to adjust to right now so don't try to do everything at once.  There is no rush so take your time.  You'll know when the time is right to respond to any questions about autism as your children develop.  Spend time understanding how autism affects your children as individuals + remember they're the same children they always were - it's just that they've either been diagnosed or are in the process of being so.  Don't rush anything.  I can understand you thinking ahead for both of them but stop + take a few deep breaths.  You have lots of time so think things through. There's loads of advice + understanding on the forums + via the home page.  Apologies if this reply is in v small type.  I must have hit a key - don't know what 1 but I've gone miniature!
