Motivation to lose weight

I need to, as a bottom line, get below 21 Stone - I'm currently 23 Stone 2 1/2 Pounds - in order to receive Life Cover from the Law Society's Financial Advisor. It is the only bone of contention for him.

I know what I need to do; it's just developing a plan to occupy myself better, to avoid eating out and grazing.

  • It’s true that it is very hard to give up wheat products - I totally agree. Perhaps maybe just reduce the amount of days you eat bread, pasta or cake? I agree it’s difficult though! For years now I’ve not eaten foods from the deadly nightshade family (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, aubergines) because I have an issue with arthritis in my hip from an operation I had as a child. I absolutely LOVE potato and tomatoes so it’s a huge sacrifice. It’s not easy to give up the foods we love as they are comforting. It seems the most fattening foods are the most comforting too - which is annoying! 
    Personally I don’t think carrying a little extra weight is such a terrible thing :)
