Making friends and socialising online

I’m wondering if anyone on here knows of anything online - a forum or something (apart from this of course!) - which is a good place for younger autistic people to chat online about lighter subjects maybe? My son is out of college at the moment due to anxiety issues and he’s feeling very isolated and would love to make some friends online. I don’t think he wants to talk about heavy stuff like the challenges of autism and mental health - I think he just wants something more social and lighter. Can anyone recommend something online that would be suitable? I’ve looked but can’t really find anything. It doesn’t have to be something that is just for autistic people. It also needs to be safe of course - as we are quite careful about privacy etc. Any ideas anyone? Thanks :)

  • it used to be like that in Spain 50 years ago as well,

    Church rules

    the worst evil humans invented

  • Woiw ! That's dead interesting. I might have suspected something like that could happen in perhaps undeveloped countries like Africa, but i would have thought a place like Poland  (i've never been ), would be a lot more  forward thinkink.

  • I did nothing, I do not live there for 16 years already

I used to go there twice a year at first, and then slowly less and less until no more for 3,5 years

they made that change to the law some 5 or 6 years ago

I did not know I am autistic yet when it happened

about same time my ex's friend suggested I might be, and they made me sign for testing through GP.

I was tested positive in Sep 2021

Autistic in Poland are persecuted more than other minorities, it's tabu to talk about, it's tabu to admit possessing any knowledge in that area, and so on.
