Somrthing a bit light-hearted and tongue-in-cheek .......... I've just been googling the internet looking for anything interesting, and found a place in Scotland selling titles, i could become ..... Laird of the Manor.
Their website says the title ... Lordship of the Manor of Wimbledon, sold for over £150k in the 90s. And in 1996, Chris Eubank paid £45k, to become moniker Lordship of the Manor of Brighton.
Being more realistic, they've a plot of land for sale for £75. It's 10 sq ft. And it can be mine, or yours. I could be....Lord of Glenroe.
Would you pay to be a Lord or Lady ? ..... What could i do with my estate ? In the sunny days of Summer i could go and walkaroumd it. Maybe if i could get planning permission, what could i build on my 10 sq ft ?
