Hi all, we have been taking our 3 year old to the doctor for some months with some worries about his behaviour. Yesterday a new doctor that we seen told us that he may have Autism and he has been referred to a specialist. He said this will be a lenghty process and i just wanted to know a few things.
How long until we get the first appointment?
How long the process will take? (from now until possible diagnosis)
Will there be many people to see?
I understand everyone/place is different but just an idea would be great. I'm already stressing lol.
On the plus side today has been so different after we read the website last night. We finally understand his behaviour and why he acts the way he does.
