Weighted Blankets

Has anyone used them, and if so, how do you find them? I do like to be very warm when I sleep, and to feel "cocooned" by the blankets, so I am inclined to think I would enjoy one, but I'd welcome any insights from user experience!

I have one and I used it all the time made me feel comfortable and warm when I felt anxious and stressed.

Don't have it in hospital though stuck with a thin blanket here.

That doesn't seem very nice - can someone drop it in for you, or is it one of those hospital hygiene things where they don't like you bringing stuff from outside?
