Hope some of these things gave you some reassurance on what may be going on and that its usuall for these things to occur along with other things aswell I may have not added :]

  • I could list more bullet points but it would be endless.

  • Another significant part of autistic joy is my interests (which happen to be autism and neurodiversity). So responding to this post brings autistic joy.

  • Being autistic influences everything, because it is a different neurotype, a different way of being in the world. For example, the thoughts you have about a situation are because you are autistic (unless you have other co-occurring forms of neurodivergence). This means that it also impacts how you think about the social world/society in general.

15.I question societal neurotypical expectations and so do many other autistic people.

I think this is because we are different and therefore wonder why there are not multiple ways of doing things/need or pressure for conformity. For me, this is a huge part of being autistic as I always need to understand a logical reason for doing something.

Another huge part of being autistic for me is

    16. constantly analysing everything.

In general, I enjoy something much more when I can explore it in depth.

    17. Need for clarity - in communication, everyday expectations

    18. Autistic joy - particularly when in hyper focus

    19. Deep passions for subjects we love, passionate about being passionate

    20. Strong sense of justice- probably due to frequent misunderstandings

    21. Different perspective and expectations for friendships- I would necessarily know someone is a friend unless they tell me explicitly. Also I wouldn’t necessarily expect a friend to socialise with me frequently unless they had something important to talk about.

    22. Accepting of others

  • Oh yes I will try and add that thanks, forgot that one :]

  • I would add another, intolerance of crowds. I have a definite limit on how long I can cope with crowds, inside or outside. Once that limit is exceeded I become progressively more internally agitated, until I feel like lashing out at people near me. I never have lashed out, but I feel the compulsion to do so.

  • 1 Difficulty with sleep is probably because of comorbid conditions like PTSD or sth

2 I must have objects in my room set like i set them and also I order the same things in the same restaurant over and over again

3 when the security guard takes your cola and you don't know what's going on untill you realize that you took your cola from outside than yes that's overwhelming

4 when I moved to Warsaw I wear my headphones all the time

5 When i was in botanic garden it was not a pleasent experience believe me

6 Headphones sunglasses and window cover when there is sun and I'm fine

7 you need to read a book "how to win friends and influence people" by Dale carnegie and there is no problem

8 This one I won't stand I will have to get my disability and have assistance on college because it's a higher level there

9 When people are very accepting welcoming and supportive and there should be no problem

10 Yes I did the best math score in my school on secondary school degree

11 You have to read a lot and educate yourself as everyone

12 no it doesn't bother me

13 only when I have to change my routine
