Does anyone else get a skin sensitivity only on one part of their body?
I'm having to wear a wound dressing on my back at the moment and its driving me crazy. My back itches so much it becomes almost like a burning pain. When I change the dressing I've noticed that where its been is all red and bumpy. I did wonder if I was allergic to the adhesive on the dressings, but I worn plasters for years without a problem and have even had adhesive dressings before (just not on my back).
I do find that if I have issues with labels or waistbands it tends to be with the ones that rub my back, so I'm wondering if this is a sensory thing.
Anyone else get this?
