Pros to a diagnosis?

What are they?

I've had my aspergers pretty much confirmed but to gain access to specialist counselling I need to go through a full assessment which I haven't and I don't know if its worth it....

It will give you a legally recognised disability that entitles you to reasonable adjustments in law in employment and from all public bodies. You can take part in autism research if you want.
