Does brain work better am or pm?

Does anyone else find their brain works better on a morning than afternoon?

I find if I have anything complicated to read, or something that needs a lot of concentration to do, my brain to be be clearer and works better before dinner.

Don't know if it's just me, or is it common in autism?

  • My brain definitely is more active at night and always has been. I don’t know why but perhaps because during the days I get more anxious, whereas at night I am more alone with my thoughts. It’s very frustrating anyway and especially if I’m feeling depressed. Then that tends to become dangerous, depending on how severe it is.
