On-going exhaustion

Is anyone else experiencing this? It has been getting worse for me over the past 5 years. Any activity that involves other people seems to make it worse. I'm sleeping loads!

I think I must have a form  of chronic fatigue/autistic burnout (I'm in my 60s). I'm enjoying gardening, still, and some days, yoga, but otherwise just want to sit and not do much.

  • I have recently been assessed as having autism/Asperger's. And had a very full on few years, especially last year, when I had a lot of social context on Zoom.

I get extremely exhausted/fatigued/confused if I don't get enough total alone/de-stress time to recover after anything even vaugely traumatic (yet alone our full-blown physical & mental health catastophes of the last 5 years).

Depression is also a feature, and this leads me to listlessness where I can't concentrate on even my current hobby/obsession.

I actually wish I could sleep much more though - at least when sleeping I don't have to agonise on what I can't/should/need to do.
