Has anyone, had the diagnosis of aspergers traits ? I think dyspraxic people are most likely to get the diagnosis.

I was told that I had dyspraxia, I have a recent diagnosis of dyspraxia (quite badly).

I have a non - standard diagnosis of aspergers traits. The psychiatrist, said aspergers traits , not a problem. My diagnosis says ASD.

I now know, my problems are dyspraxic.

If the main diagnosis is dyspraxia, it is highly related to aspergers traits.

My Autism Spectrum Quotient score is 24/25/26. I discovered that the level of my ASQ is below 32, therefore the level of asperger syndrome is borderline.

People do not think I have aspergers traits, so that my ASD is not a problem, but my dyspraxia has caused me a history of problems.

  • As I understand it, there is a higher than normal level of conditions such as dyspraxia, dyslexia, and dyscalculia, as well as numerous other conditions, in the Autistic population.

    This suggests that there is a cross over between the underlying genetic causes of these various conditions, but it does not mean that having will mean you'll necessarily have another, or be at a particular point, in a particular region, within a spectrum.
