Going into "recharge" mode

Hey, this is my first post here.

I am currently waiting on a possible two year waiting list to see a psychiatrist to get a formal diagnosis.

I guess this post is about relationships (Not just romantic).

My whole life I have felt that I have had to explain myself to everyone because no one seems to understand me. I go through phases where I need alone time (from everyone) and people around me seem to always take it personal. I am a natural lone wolf and I enjoy my own company. I find people can really drain me and it gets to the point where I have to "recharge" away from everyone. It'll be nice to hear from others who feel the same or who goes through these phases too.

Speak soon! Slight smile

  • I find socialising with people absolutely exhausting. I like checking-in with folk every once in a while but speaking with the same people day after day I find really draining. I avoid "hanging out" like the plague and my worst nightmare is a meal gathering with no other distraction but social chit-chat.

I look forward to the weekends. Not only because I'm away from work but there's no pressure to interact with anyone.

Funnily enough I enjoyed living in the center of a city - but only because of the anonymity it offered. I seem to be quite comfortable in my own company - although granted, it's a little harder some days than others to get motivated.
