Odd sensation in my chest

So I dont know if this is the right place to ask, but I've been having cold sensations in my chest, left side from the bottom of my rib cage to about my nipple.

My health isn't great. I'm male, 5'10, 130lbs. I smoke (tobacco) daily, and drink on a semi monthly basis. I eat a decent size meal every other or 3rd day. I have a stressful job, a stressful home life, stress over finances, hurt my back in 3 places ( C-spine;pinched nerve, T-Spine; something in my T3, and 2 herniated discs in my lumbar) and like to play an overly stressful game (eve online [one of those nerds is going to cross post this])

If it was a simple pain coupled with shortness of breath I'm happy d go to the ER. As it is, I was exerting myself a bit earlier today and felt it. Then again tonight after a shower. Slightly stronger sensation, and wider area of effect. Slightly nervous, but not willing to miss a day of work over a possible frivolous scare. Any of yall have answers?

  • Hi its possible its could just be stress, you may have pulled a muscle in your rib cage or you may have picked up the virus that's about. Ive had it twice now and both times gives you an odd cold empty feeling in the chest. look after yourself and watch if you have any other symptoms in the next few days
