If a child has an ECHP or are considered a vulnerable child they can attend their school if it is open to vulnerable children and the children of key workers.
Whilst I agree with the sentiments I think there is too many issues for me to sign:
a) exposing them to the risk of the virus.
b) if they get it this risk of passing it on.
c) creating educational inequality based on a health condition never feels right to me.
I totally get the points you are making but to say one persons educational access is greater than another’s isn’t something I agree with. I’ve always battled to fit in not stand out with ASD, I don’t want to be treated differently and thus I have to apply that ethos here. I’m sorry - I just cannot sign this.
