Facebook-Does it annoy anyone else? it seems all fake!¬

It may be me to some extent, but all the connections. The sheer 100s of friends...all interconnected and all seem to say the same words....they all share a common theme of drivel..

Is it because im on the outside?  but im glad in so many ways that i am.

So much falsehood and lies within these circles..and expanses. And many of them likely talk about eachother..

  • Fakebook gives people a hive mind to tap into, one that thrives on victimhood. If they have a smartphone and social media, they're never alone. Narcissists can find people who empathise with their victim playing, drama, attention, validation, without even having to leave the house.

  • I admit I have joined FB in lockdown for the first time mainly to start with to connect with relatives and another attempt at trying to make an effort really. I have periods of backing off from everyone but close family and then trying to make an effort again. Anyway apart from family and some Christian posts (Its my faith) I agree it’s a sad place really. Empty pointless stuff. But sticking with it for now as some older relatives need my chatSlight smile
