Hi! I’m a newbie here! How are you all doing?
Hi! I’m a newbie here! How are you all doing?
That's really nice that you made a couple of friends at the anxiety therapy group. Hopefully you can find a good youth club for Autistic people.
Hi! I feel that I can really express myself, which is really good for me. It feels like this website has a friendly and polite atmosphere to it.
I went to an anxiety therapy group and I made two friends there, so that was nice! In the future, I might join a youth club for people who have Autism.
Quite recently too then. Have you tried any local ASD social/support groups?
I think I was diagnosed with ASD in 2018 or 2019
LMAO! I do appreciate the sense of humour - as my partner says (he's also on the spectrum) he couldn't get through some things without the 'sense of the absurd'. I'm another newbie to the community and I'm really glad to come across the discussions - most people I try to talk to about this are either convinced I have exactly what they have ("Hi, welcome to the club, I'm bipolar and I think you are too" - literally) or just look at me in disbelief. We are the only ones inside our own heads! We are the ones who know what we mask or reveal: and we are the ones who may now spend all day in a new forum... so I'm going to set my timer...
Thank you for the advice! It really means a lot!
Thank you for the reply! I now feel that I’m not alone with my autism. It feels great having others who understand!
Thank you for the comment and your help! I feel like this community is going to be a great place!
Greetings, Welcome to the Forum, Glad to have You here, and please have a look around, and reply as You feel like replying.
With regards to the question of "What is the community like?"... Well, I, personally, as an experienced and known User would strongly advise You, as a newer User and a curious person... that the Community IS like a Black-coloured writing upon a sort-of off-white background, occasionally with purple or red letters and Functional Buttons which may connect to the rest of the Internet.
...Good Luck!
