Hearing voices

Please could you be more specific? What are you hearing in your head? Is there anyone else present at the time you are hearing them or are you hearing them when you are on your own?

This is about my 20 yr old daughter who has high functioning ASD /Aspergers. She is always alone when it happens and can never make out what is being said almost like a conversation from a distance. This sometimes also sounds like someone whistling , really don't know how long its been going on for? Has only been diagnosed last year and it seems to have made her look at every little thing that she experiences and that others don't. 

In the absence of another sensible explanation, such as someone having a conversation in the distance that she can hear, or it being her own internal voice, then it might be worth checking with her doctor or other healthcare provider about this?
