Diagnosing ADD/Dyspraxia/Aspergers

In January I saw a DWP Work Psychologist that said she could diagnose aspergers after I said that's something I thought I might have, as I have some mental health issues that remain undiagnosed, supported or treated.

It turned out that she meant ADD, not Aspergers. To be honest she wasn't the most clear person I've ever dealt with. She did a test that resulted in a sort-of diagnosis (as I say, vague) for ADD with some mention of something called 'non verbal learning difficulty' (i don't know what that is, but apparently it's something in and of itself). She also menetioned Dyspraxia and said that none of this precluded Aspergers even though she couldn't test for it.

The whole thing seems to be testing for the possibility of these conditions to take to the official people. NOw I'm waiting for an aspergers diagnosis, but I'm beginning to think that it's not aspergers and that it's ADD, at elast, instead. So my question is, is there a single diagnosis process, or do I need to go back and ask for ADD diagnosis instead?
