hi everyone,
my son is 5 and has had challenging and odd behavioural issues for a few years now.he has recently started having an obcession with my feet where he willl want to touch them with his face ,smell them and sometimes lick or kiss them.he has also just started to try and put his head between my legs when im laying on the floor clothed and will try to also touch me between the legs.i have told him no and to get away and his behaviour is not acceptable etc,does anyone else have these issues at all? at school the main reason is not able to show affection and he does not like to be cuddled and will not want comforting when hes fallen over etc.he has been being seen by a mental health assessor up until a few weeks ago,and was tested for adhd,but after assessments they have referred him to be tested for autism.any help would be appreciated on how to deal with these current issues,as i feel alone whilst awaiting the assessment date.thankyou for reading my post x
