I'm struggling with ticcing in public. My particular tics are occasional facial grimaces, and hand flapping, but the worst (which is the most recent) is a head-tilt to the right and placing my face almost onto my shoulder. The peoblem is that it makes people stare, and I know I've done it at work before. The hand flapping I can explain away by gesturing a lot, but the head-tilt I can only half-convincingly explain as a 'twitch'.
The head-tilting is getting worse, but I need to know how to deal with it before it gets to be a real hindrance. Any suggestions? If I've had a stressful day and have conciously hed it back, it gets harder to control after I'm alone and in my own rooms (where no-one could care less what I do).
