How do I find out which shops are part of the 2nd oct in my area?

We're concerned that a list of almost 5000 participating retailers and others would be very difficult to use - hence the choice of the map to present them. Could you say more about why the map is difficult, and also any positive features? Are the filters helpful? Obviously we want to improve the next time we do anything similar.

I  have found the interactive map difficult to use. Any chance of the information being in list form too? Thanks

Had a very upsetting experience in a supermarket that didn't opt in on Saturday, was at the pharmacy and ended up having a melt down, Was in the shop with my wife (I had gone to the pharmacy section on my own) and it was fortunate that she came along just at the right moment to take over... she told me after that she was disgusted as the pharmacist on being told I had autism, replied that perhaps I shouldn't shop on my own then. I was not rude or threatening in any way, I had just got confused and frozen... but transpires some people don't believe in independence.

Found it after a bit of digging and being metaphorically blind. Looks like there are a few shops in my area but relegated to a small supermarket (compared to 3 larger ones nearby) an e-vape shop, a pie shop and then mostly women's ware. Was a very nice idea in theory (and may appeal to some people in my area) but a shame that more shops didn't opt in. Great to see that NAS are trying to get the message across though :)

Seems like a good idea, just wonder why they can't always do that, and lots of other shops too. The duty-free area in Manchester Airport where you have to go through if you want to get to the gates is my "favourite" for this....
