Awaiting adult diagnosis

Hello. Advice wanted please!

I'm 29 years old and I have an appointment in a few weeks for a diagnosis. I don't really want to share this with my family at the moment, but know that it is helpful to have information on childhood development and behaviours. Are there any questions in particular which I could be asking my family to find out useful bits of information about how I was as a child?

I'm also starting to worry that I have shared a lot of information at my initial appointment about how 'weird' I am, most of which I've never shared before. Although it felt initially like a relief to have shared those things, I'm not worrying that what if I don't get a diagnosis of autism? Why else could I be this strange?

Thnks for any suggestions!
