What's in your fridge??

Hello everyone, my name is Hendrow and I would like to know does it matter what is in your fridge? I only ask because I was thinking the other day, that I need to understand what a late diagnosis, is really going to mean to me. I am beginning to look at it this way, my nearly 53 years that I have been running this race called life. Have to me been a marathon, I have come to the end of the race, and it has been so difficult I had felt like giving up almost every step of the way. Can you imagine my disappointment when I look at the clock and it has taken me more than 90 minutes longer than my personal best time, so much longer than the average person running their own marathons.

I express my feelings of failure to one of the race officials on the line, when what he says in response finally sinks in, I realise that I have got it all wrong. I see now that everything I have done in my marathon has to be re-assessed. I have in fact done remarkably well, 'pats on the backs'  in order I think. Why the change of perspective just because of what the official said? I can converse with some of the other competitors who congratulate me, and some even openly admitting that they could not have done what I have done.

I have realised that I have been running with a fridge on my back all this time. I thought it was a standard running vest, and everyone had one. They did, but most everyone else left their fridges on the starting line. So I just want to say well done to one and all. Particularly those (because there were a few) Who actually put stuff in there fridges before setting off. That takes me full circle to my original question. What's in your fridge??
