Have you ever heard of any NT people who find autism a turn-on? Like the whole "speak their mind, dance to their own beat, strange behaviour" kind of thing?

I can believe that some people would like many so called high functioning autism traits. Some people value traits that seem rare, just because they're rare. Some people who have autism prefer others with the same traits, because they think it makes life easier. It also seems likely that those who like helping people could find an appeal in those with general autism traits. So in effect people could easily be attracted to someone just because they had autism. But I don't know if they or the autistic person would necessarily recognize it was a major factor.
