Tw. May upset. Intrusive thoughts

I really don't want to cause offence or upset people. I wanted to ask some questions but they may be deemed as offensive or aggressive. Is there anyone that can direct to a forum more ok with that? Its about intrusive thoughts and how distressing they are as I dont know if its part of autism.

  • Hi Desperado,

I'm afraid I don't have links to other forums for you, but you might find some other community members mention something, so keep checking back.  On the other hand you may choose to post here, we'd be very happy to hear from you but as you suggest, we request you keep the community rules in mind (community.autism.org.uk/rules)

If  there's a particular issue you wish to discuss, you might like to contact our Autism Helpline for help. Advisers can talk through the different types of support and search for services in your area, if you would like to call.

    The Helpline is open Monday to Thursday 10am – 4pm and Friday 9am -3pm on 0808 800 4104.

I hope this is helpful.  Just let us know if you have any more questions and one of the moderators will be able to help you.

    Warm regards,
