Intelligent people have fewer friends

A you tube video has just been posted talking about how intelligent people have fewer friends

It's interesting that the theory why they have fewer friends is that there are less of them, so it's harder for them to find others who share their interests.

Perhaps this is a better reason why we Aspies have few friends, than the usual "socially awkward" explanation?

  • I do not speak English, I only use translator, I'm sorry for the typos.

I am TEA, and most of my friends tell me that I am a know-it-all and sometimes prefer that I do not participate in the conversations because I always leave them without speaking. For that reason when I see people talking about issues that I know I prefer not to participate occasionally only make fun of my speeches even if I am right. I could say that being more intelligent or knowing more of something makes me have few friends.

That does not sadden me or affect me emotionally, but I know that socially I should avoid talking much of what I know to be able to fit in the society, if it were for me I would live alone and studying a lot but I learned that it is not right I must be social
