Hi thereI'm new I did introduce myself in that thread. I'm working (tho have had work suspended atm) p/t under ESA permitted work rules on a 0 hours contract for a charity that supports learning disabled adults, tho it also includes those with Aspergers/autism. I don't know if I'm an aspie, but have assessment next week. THo over the past 6 weeks or so the manager seems to be bullying me, bringing up remarks said in jest to a colleague, or the supported people have made complaints against me, . I've been there four months, tho the manager hasn't shown me the alleged complaints. Or alleged errors I made are brought up some 3 months later, and not at the time they happened. I've been made to feel guilty if I turn down work, then she says she doesn't have to give me work , or I'm not trying hard enough with some of our clients, tho it's exactly what my colleagues have said do , and they are in the main supportive. I could go on. It won't look good if it turns out I;m an aspie and the manager has bullied me. I feel I want to leave, that's if I'm not sacked (as currently in limbo). Have informed my employment advisor (she is an aspie), she advised me to think about my work, as I was too upset to make a decision about resigning last week. I did join a union , and have taken it up with a union rep, but I understand even if I feel the need to resign even if just for my sanity, that I have to have been employed for 2 years, and unless I can prove that the harassment/bullying was due to disability, race, religion or none sexuality etc, it appears I don't have a case. It would appear that unless it fits into one of the above categories and I have to have worked there years the bullying is not against the law.
