For recently diagnosed adults - and those still struggling...

Hi to all other adults on the spectrum.

Clovis posted a link to a letter to a newly diagnosed child on another post, where parents were discussing how to tell their children about their diagnosis.

When I clicked on the link, I found it was part of an amazing website which explains things so brilliantly, I wanted to share it. And the letter, despite being written for a child and me being middle aged, spoke to me so clearly that I was in tears.

  • I only recently found out I am an Aspie, and this is the best set of articles I've found explaining what autism is and what neurotypicality is, and how best to cope if you're Autistic.

So in my opinion it's as useful for me now as it would have been if I had been diagnosed as a child or teenager.

I posted it in the hope that it might also be of some use to other newly diagnosed adults.
