Hi All,
My Social Worker has said that she must referr me to the support time and recovery worker.
STAR work for the local council and this is all to build up my social care package.
The council wants everyone to be reffered to STAR first, to see if they meet your needs (OCD but ASD is the bigger condition of the two).
STAR is cheaper than charities with specialism for ASD, according to my Social Worker.
Has anyone had contact with STAR team through social services, NHS or other agencies.
Are they any good and what for (e.g. specific aspects of autism, mental health issues etc)
Any advice would be great and especially anyone who has been through the social care stuff before.
