I made a short music video poem about my life and explaining also how I feel, maybe other people with Autism could do the same, we have to express ourselves in some way.

Here's my music video, please watch it, hopefully someone or one of you people will identify with me.

    As a young child at school I feel unloved and different,
    as though no-one likes me, my school friends pick on me,
    they call me names and make me feel like i'm worthless.
    I feel so alone even though i'm surrounded by people,
    does no-one like me?

    I've left school maybe I can find some friends,
    but as I call out in the darkness of my world no-one replies.
    I start college now, maybe I can make some friends,
    oh no I get picked on again,
    when I try to talk to people i'm ignored.

    Oncece again i'm alone while other people sit in groups,
    they laugh and joke, I smile trying to catch their attention,
    but still they ignore me, am I invisible?

    I'm 40 years old now, time is ticking away,
    yet i'm still alone, no friends or girlfriend.

    I've become content on my own,
    I have two children who love me,
    I continue to live for my daughters,
    without them i'm a lost soul,
    wandering through a ghostly landscape.
    Still I yearn to be loved by a girl,
    maybe someday i'll find love,
    i'm just a guyy with Aspergers.

  • There was a time at secondary school when I had no friends. It was horrendous. Thankfully I was approached by someone who became my friend. It would have been even tougher than it was without this friend.
