Hi,
I explained our full story in a previous post. Our baby who is 2 1/2 had lot of words and they were faded over the 2nd year and he was later diagnosed with Autism.
One of the key issues he had was his obsession for TV. We stopped it 100%. Since then his sounds, noice, words improved tremendously. He now talk a lot even though what he said is not that meaningful.
One of the concerns i have is that he does say lot of new words. But he only says them once and it again dissapears. Over the last few days he said words like "grandma", "Lets Go", "Father", "Train", "Ball" (most in our own language). These were no accidents. We clearly heard them.
He loves to go out and he now tend to say "Lets go" every time we put the shoes.
Is this common ? is this positive ? what can i do to get him to say it ? needless to say after he says "ball".... i will do anything to get him to say ball again but he does not.
However he loves to count he knows "9" and he propery say nine. So as 2 and 3.
Any help will be much appreciated.
