I am interested in becoming self-employed as an autism trainer, raising awareness of autism by delivering talks and presentations. This would be an ideal occupation for me as it would utilise my skills and would benefit myself and other people, but I am clueless as to how to go about this. An added complication is that I struggle with planning and organisation without external structure, and have severe dyscalculia. I am also on benefits.
I guess I am looking for advice from other people with experience of self-employment. How do I get started, how do I market myself, deal with finances, etc?
