Females with Autism/Asperger - Do they feel more like Tom-Boys than Girls?

I am curious to know whether females with Autism / Asperger Syndrome feel more like boys than girls?  i.e. Tom Boys, so to speak.  

I have heard that some females with ASD feel more like Tom Boys than girls.  I wondered whether this is the norm?  Is this a bit of an urban myth?  Or do many females with ASD feel more like Tom Boys than girls?
