Getting into full time work...?

Im working right now in retail, 1 day a week and the over time is given out at random inculding weekends (which im not a fan of)
I drive to work but I always panic that my car will breakdown and im left with public transport (which im also not a fan of lol)

I'll rather have a job close to home and more of a Monday-Friday job. But due to me having AS im not that good at interviews (it took me 6 years to get the job I have now) im looking for a more office type job. I just need a stable job and maybe start saving for a home.

But I need help, im not 100% sure on what to do.

  • Can totally sympathize there, job interviews are always a nightmare and most public transport is rather scary though trains are not so bad if dont have to change inbetween. I like thatt hey repeat the stops multiple times throughout the way so i always know where i am:) As for getting a job like that, itd be helpful to know which sort of field you wana do the job in(though i suppose there are secretarys in any field-but they gotta deal with phones-scary!) But, there is something called workaid you can refer yourself to that will help you find a suitable job and can do most of the talking for you(or so i was told), so might be a good opportunity. They also help to talk to the employers if theres any adjustments that need to be done in the workplace, for example more regular shift times. I also hated the random shifts, morning, then evening, then morning again..:S but i already solved the issue by swapping for nights, as there is only one type of nightshift, so even though days are stil random, at least shift times are always the same now. But i was told since i now have the diagnosis they could tell them to keep me on one type of shift,  so i could do days again...but i guess i am rather used to nights now.......reluctance to change there lol.
