I was recommended a book from the early learing centre and would like to get more assistance wiht getting the coping guide they used to offer, I hope the paper back is still in print.

Find out where your local education authority's learning resource centre is located. It may be a special purpose building or part of one school's library.
Learning Resource Centres are the resource schoolteachers use to learn new stuff, and will have books on disability. So it may be a good place to start. They may know an equivalent book if the one you were directed to is out of print.
Alternatively if there is a parents group or NAS branch near you, they may be able to help.
Or if there is a university near you, their library will help, or they should have a SEN (special education needs) research or support department.
An Early Learning Centre may not have enough autism related books.
