Your cleaning your room. Not the air....insecticides aren't usually used indoors. Do you mean affraid of aerosols? You don't have to use aerosols if you don't want. You can tidy and dust without any spray.
It isn't wise to use insecticides/slug pellets outside. They kill animals. When people garden, they should use organic products or natural products that don't harm animals or children. I wrote to the organic slug pelet company and they said that even organic pellets can be dangerous to animals, if they are poured out/slighty too many used.
