Reduced Libido Question

Afternoon everyone. I'm 45 and was diagnosed 4 years ago. I've been married 23 years and in therapy for the last 5 years. Over the last year my libido has dropped through the floor. I don’t know if libido is the right word tbh, my interest in sex isn't what it was but my ability to achieve or sustain an erection is non existent, on my own or with my wife. I've had blood tests for testosterone and stuff which show no apparent problems so I'm awaiting a further referal. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge to suggest the diagnosis might be relevant? Thanks.

  • I'm sorry to hear your experiencing this. I don;t want to say what could or couldn't be the answer as we are all different but I wonder if being diagnosed may have something to do with it? I was diagnosed later in life and it makes you question everything about yourself. That self doubt and loss of identity can affect sex drive

Obviously this might have nothing to do with it, just an idea
