Stationery Stuff

I’ve always loved going into stationery stores. And now that they’re doing such huge marketing, I’m obsessed.
I'm starting this thread to share experiences buying stationery items online. Websites overwhelm me, and I find it really hard to decide; most of the time I end up closing all the pages because I get so overwhelmed. I saw the Mishmash website, but it seemed too disorganized to choose items. I also saw the Hobonichi Techo, but I didn't browse the site because it overwhelmed me at first glance. For now, I’d like to buy a notebook that includes a calendar, lined pages, and pages for drawing. Does anyone have experience buying from them?

  • Hi, another fan of stationery here! I favour Parker fountain pens (a throwback from my school days), mainly the Jotter range with fine nibs. I've found The Online Pen Company (https://www.theonlinepencompany.com/) and Pen Heaven (https://www.penheaven.co.uk/) are fairly easy to navigate for pens and ink cartridges. If one doesn't have what I want I can usually find in the other. Cult Pens (https://cultpens.com/) has already been mentioned and I've used them a couple of times.

I especially like Rhodia A5 pads for fountain pens. The Journal Shop (https://www.thejournalshop.com/) is another website I don't find too overwhelming.I recently bought some little A7 pocket notepads from them which are really cute and little!

I've found the TG Jones webstore a bit too much to browse through, unless I can search for exactly the specific item I want. There are usually way too many things listed in a category if I just want a bit of an enjoyable "window shop" or if I'm in the mood for treating myself but I don't know exactly what I want.
