Never heard about it. Although, I am aware of one cover on YouTube, titled "Take On Miku". Of course, based on the original "Take on Me" by a-ha from the 1980s.

Here's her design in most official media

In recent years, she's become famous in not just Japan but all over the world and has been in various collabs with popular media franchises
I found an image of her in black parade gear and I was like omg that MCR tattoo I've been pondering? This is it
Okay. I think I’m too old for this.
Hatsune Miku is a vocaloid, which is essentially a digital instrument that does not only produce sounds, but also mimic words in several languages. Therefore the program is very popular to be used for making original music or remix existing music (such as OP’s example of MCR and Taylor Swift).
Beyond that, Miku has gone on to become famous worldwide as a “virtual idol,” where people pretend that she is a real, digitized person with a personality of her own.
Lol yeah, I have an Autistic friend who is obsessed with Miku and her MCR covers in particular. She’s known for cosplaying as Black Parade Miku at cons.
I don’t even know what this means. Can you expand?
