Recently on the comic publishing app "Webtoon", one of my comic's chapters were removed for a depiction of nudity. Said depiction was actually fully censored and non-sexualised, just to clarify. And yet Webtoon is also infamous for having comics on it with gratuitous "fan service" and sexual content, especially in their romance section. I'm not sure if it's appropriate to post examples, but just search "webtoons fan service" and you'll immediately come across some rather questionable content.
This double standard is absolutely baffling to me, and it makes me wonder; Where on earth is their line? So, can you draw characters doing acts as sexualised and depraved as you want so long as they've still got underwear on? And yet having huge black censor bars across nude bodies in a shower while not performing any sexual acts still counts as being too indecent for their standards?
