Research background
My name is Meera Morjaria and I am a 3rd year trainee on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at King’s College London.
I am exploring the diagnostic experiences of South Asian females who obtained an adult Autism diagnosis for my doctoral research.
The study aims to better understand the cultural and gender intersectionality in the Autism diagnostic processes and to hopefully improve cultural awareness and understanding of the impact of this intersectionality.
Who are we looking for?
I am looking for South Asian* females, based in the UK who received an Autism diagnosis from a UK based service or clinician when they were 18 years or older to take part in an online interview for 60-90 minutes to better understand their diagnostic experiences.

* South Asian will include ethnicities from: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, The Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Mixed ethnicities will be included if identification as South Asian is primary.
