If anyone has been under the home treatment team and completed acute therapy service, please can you share you experiences. Is your mental health better because of acute therapy?

I had the home treatment team assigned twice and the third time I said politely, "no thanks". I believe that most of them mean well, but every time somebody different comes through the door, never on time and haven't even bothered to read my notes, so you have to explain everything over and over again. Everyone has different beliefs and gives you different advice. I guess it is ok if you have no one else to check on you, othervise it didn't help me. Regarding acute and any other therapy, it very much depends on the therapist you get. I was quite lucky and had a brilliant therapist who helped me a lot. Then, on a different occasion, I declined therapy because the therapist was pretty useless for me (might be brilliant for someone else).
